KnockOff Studios have reclaimed and released the, Australia Day Eve, live broadcast due to lack of payment for services provided to Triple J. Litigation has begun with the Australian Broadcasting Company, who claim in their defence that the mandatory diversity quota was not met and that they had previously been assured that one Victor Stamp qualified as a “disabled person”. A recent Centrelink sting operation revealed that his disabled pension had been paid entirely in error.
The ABC also stated in follow up correspondence that the broadcast was of “exceptionally low standard both technically and professionally” and that “considerable physical damage had been done to the studio”. KnockOff Studios have refused to comment and are speaking through their attorney who has stated “We know they’re good for it, my boys are getting paid one way or another, we’ll settle for the 900 dollar chairs and a couple AIMEE shirts if need be”.
